We all have aspirations and dreams. But, only a few have the zeal to follow our passions. Not all can follow their dreams due to their struggles and circumstances. Most of us get lost in worldly duties and problems. Some people come out of all the problems and inspire us to still follow our hearts. They motivate us to do better in our lives, come what may. Clément Mateu, Montpellier driver is also one of those people who are an inspiration to thousands of people around the world. It was not so easy for him too.
Clément is a self-made man. He debuted his racing career at the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with Martinet by Almeras at the Barcelona circuit. After that, he never looked back. He also raced for the F1 weekend with almost 100,000 spectators who were amazed by his talent. “Racing is not an easy sport. It is the matter of life and death, but the thrill is the real inspiration. This thrill pushed me to the racing.” He shares.
Talking about how developed this passion is another interesting story. During a trip to Monaco with his father, Clément fell in love with car racing. He was just pulled by this amazing and spectacular sport. “It was a life-changing moment for me. I was just 15 years old, but since then I was sure what I want to be.” He further added. Later on, racing on Monaco’s Monegasque, he was a little emotional about his relation to the place. “This is the real place where I understood the real purpose of my life.” He added with a smile.
Today, he is named as one of the top racers in the world. He has stopped here; he built further on his expertise. Now, he is the CEO of Hexis Australia. Talking about his grand success, he shared, “I had my own share of struggles. I have to train my body and mind. I have failed many a time, but not let stop myself.” He added. “Those who mocked me before now salute me. This is my biggest achievement. I solely believe that we all should have faith in ourselves.”
