Growing up in California’s Bay Area, hip-hop artist Marcus432 was constantly surrounded by rap music and the culture that came along with it. He gained interest in making his own music once he started listening to Mac Miller in high school, and he soon found out a friend was making music in his home studio. This drew him in even more.
Once in college, Marcus432 built a studio in his dorm room and began producing, recording, and engineering his own music. His career quickly took off, leading to a tour with rapper Blueface and the opportunity to open for his shows. Marcus432 also quickly began networking with other artists, and he is now the founder of the Bay Area music group, “432 Mob”. This group gives him the chance to work with other artists and gain them credibility and exposure across many platforms.
Marcus432 aims to help others through the challenges of the music industry. He knows about these challenges firsthand, as he struggled with the anxiety and depression that came when he first began making music. He is also constantly evolving his sound and preaching his message of positivity, equality, love, and respect. Marcus432 recently dropped a new single featuring Vali Woods called “OMO” (On My Own). “The song emphasizes that doing what it takes to get to the next level isn’t easy,” he says. “It starts with you and only you.”
