P.A & P.H – (The Twins of Rap/Os Gêmeos do RAP) are Pedro Alexandre and Pedro Henrique. @paephoficial The brothers were born in Curitiba, and are standing out in the international scene. The duo started their career early, in 1996, at the age of six, and caught Eduard Irimia’s the attention, who is the founder and CEO of Superkombat Fighting Championship. Producer of Hollywood’s Superfilm and Dream Makers, Eduard is also the promoter who has discovered and driven Florian Munteanu into Creed II movie’s cast, making him the lead actor by playing the role of Viktor Drago. In addition to that, In the movie with Sylvester Stallone, the Superkombat brand took part at the final combat.
From then on, P.A & P.H were invited to visit Europe and Hollywood, together with Beyond Skills and Dream Makers, The Twins have also shared stage with North American rappers such as Ja Rule and Soulja Boy.
The twins announced their latest release, “Levante os Punhos” (Raise Your Fists) https://youtu.be/z–vaejpH1A , a single followed by a video clip, which is part of the twins’ first official album. The sound dedicated to ancestry, is a real protest against police violence, while Bruno Sann and Thamyres Borges’s back vocal chorus, brings faith and hope to those who suffer from racism every day.
“The album Levante os Punhos (Rise Your Fists) is the voice of those who are gone, it’s our soul’s sorrow, the hymn of our people. My grandfather was taken to be a slave from his mother’s arms when he was only six years old, we are the second generation after slavery”, says the duo. Influenced by Racionais MC’s, Notorious Big, 2Pac, N.W.A ,Jadakiss and DMX the brothers introduce the song with a voice intened in acapella that calls out for life.
Fernando Monteiro’s ( Bestside) videoclip brings an excerpt from a jounalistic report by Maju Coutinho, about a young black man’s death , João Pedro, brutally murdered with 80 gunshots by a policemen, while introducing P.A & P.H’s very well written rhymes.
”The blood of my people is the ink that writes on the pages of this racist history book”, inflames the duo.
