There are a number of qualities that are required to be a successful business owner. A business owner must be passionate about his or her product or service. A business owner must be confident, persistent, budget conscious, passionate, and be goal orientated. In order for a company to run smoothly, a business owner must be many things at once and improve his leadership skills on a daily basis. Running a profitable business requires proactive communication, flawless organization, continual learning, strategic planning, and an impeccable business model. Roy Andrade, CEO, of Cyber Boy Corp. has been in business since March and has made it to November during the Coronavirus Pandemic. We are at Cyber Boy Corp. Headquarters in Beverly Hills, Ca with the founder and are anxious to hear from Roy Andrade himself.
Natalie Roberts: “Thank you for welcoming us to your Wilshire office and taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit with us.”
Roy Andrade: “Thank you for calling Cyber Boy Corp. and scheduling an appointment with our organization to conduct this interview. I’ve been flying all over the place and have had to cancel a handful of appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, but, here we are in the 90210. I’m going to make a cup of coffee. Would like me to make you a cup too?”
Natalie Roberts: “Yes, sir. Thank you.”
Roy Andrade: “Here you are, sir. I didn’t add any sugar or creamer. Would like me to get some for you?”
Natalie Roberts: “How do you drink yours?”
Roy Andrade: “Just the way I handed it to you.”
Natalie Roberts: “This will do, Roy, thank you!”
Roy Andrade: “I drink a minimum of two cups per day. I work two to three days straight and coffee really helps me gun forward.”
Natalie Roberts: “Two to three days straight? That’s unbelievable. That’s unheard of. I can’t go a day without sleep. I tried to drive from Texas to California without checking into a motel and almost fell asleep behind the wheel. My wife had to take control of the vehicle and got us home safe and sound. I couldn’t go two days, let alone three, without sleep. I would go crazy.”
Roy Andrade: “That’s funny. It took time to adjust. A neuroscientist may tell me that my brain isn’t functioning at optimal speed, but, whose to say his or hers is?
Natalie Roberts: “That’s an interesting perspective.”
Roy Andrade: “I guess it is. I am most certain that brain imaging research would reveal that the way I live would result in reduced blood flow to multiple regions of my brain, such as, the PFC, which is responsible for our social behavior, decision making, cognitive behavior. What else? Personality expression. Lack of sleep makes people irritable and vulnerable to mood swings.”
Natalie Roberts: “How do you maintain your composure if you are awake two days in a row? Or three?”
Roy Andrade: “The way I live decreases the amount of oxygen for my brown eyes, which causes the blood vessels to act up. My eyes become bloodshot and I get minor headaches from time to time.”
Natalie Roberts: “So why do you do it?”
Roy Andrade: “To accomplish more. My phone is ringing. Give me a second, please.”
Natalie Roberts: “Sure!”
Roy Andrade: “Thank you.”
Approximately five minutes passed.
Roy Andrade: “I have to go. I need to take care of some things elsewhere. I will have my secretary re-schedule our meeting and I will drive or fly to you. I got to go. Will be in contact.”
