Dr Samkari is a general surgeon, who is also the founder of an innovative and meaningful initiative for disabled people called ‘Lametkher initiative’.

Dr Samkari graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology and worked relentlessly to make a huge difference in people’s lives by imparting the right information to them regarding many medical misconceptions and give people more clarity on these topics. He completed his education from the University of Sydney, Australia and did his residency program in general surgery at the Royal Medical Services Hospitals, Arab board.

For the same, he has already garnered more than 1 million views across social media platforms for his content.
To his credit, he has a successful and original medical series called “TikTALK”, consisting of eight episodes per season. With this one of a kind medical series, he carries out a social experiment where people are interviewed on streets and many of their medical misconceptions are brought to light and all these doubts, misinterpretations and lack of clarity on things are then corrected by Dr Samkari himself on the set.
What’s even more impressive about Dr Samkari is that he is the founder of ‘Lametkher initiative’ that works for the needs of the disabled. For this, Dr Samkari has even been a part of 22 successful events held in collaboration with various medical and governmental institutions. Across the medical and social media space, Dr Samkari is ranked amongst the top influencers, who talks about many unique medical topics and caters to all people of all age groups, especially young women between 18-24 years and older.
People trust Dr Samkari as a credible and ethical source of medical information for his degrees and years of experience in public and private sector hospitals, and his public services initiatives as well. So far, Dr Samkari has earned nearly 1 million followers on TikTok (850K) and Instagram (90K) combined. His growing presence also led him to get extensive media and Arab coverage, where he appeared on Al Mamlaka TV station, Jordan TV, also BBC. He has also been written about a lot in newspapers like Al Dustour, Al-Rai newspaper, and Al-Ghad newspaper. Dr Samkari has also been the brain behind the discovery of a link between appendicitis and genetic factors, amongst many other discoveries.
