Let’s be honest, we all rely on motivation to accomplish certain tasks, but is that all we need in order to become successful? According to Dylan Caudullo, a successful 21 year old executive, motivation does not guarantee success.
Dylan Caudullo was born and raised by a single mother in Pennsylvania. He was addicted to drugs and at only age 19 years old, he was arrested for drug use and peddling. Only two years ago Dylan Caudullo was a completely different person. When he decided it was time to turn his life around, he had a rush of motivation that encouraged him to start his journey of growth, but in reality what kept him focused was discipline.
Caudullo believes if you strengthen your discipline, nothing can stop you from achieving everything you want. In only six months he was able to build and sell his own marketing agency. He then moved to San Diego, California into a skyrise penthouse. In the last 45 days, he was able to close one million dollars in sales for the company he currently works for. “It is not possible to be motivated one-hundred percent of the time. There will be rejection and tough times, but if you develop and strengthen your disciple, nothing will matter. You will be so focused on your goals, and everything else will be irrelevant.” says, Caudullo.
Start by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Those things will help you grow the most and will also help you develop discipline. Doing the things you don’t want to do, but you know are necessary will get you closer to your goals each day. “Everybody wants to become successful, but not everybody wants to do what it takes” -Dylan Caudullo.
