As an entrepreneur and leader, it’s important that we spend a lot of time refining our vision and bringing deeper levels of clarity and understanding in how we wish to best serve the world and others.
Kelly Wing, founder of Ohwabisabi Media is a leader who is constantly refining and bringing more clarity to her vision. She shares 3 ways in how leaders can do the same, as we are ever-evolving as people, meaning our businesses should follow the same evolutionary cycle.
Spend more time in solitude
By spending time in solitude often to allow ourselves time to connect with ourselves, we’re able learn more about who we are as a unique human-being.
“Once we realise who we truly are, we can then start to integrate each part of our uniqueness into our business and our business becomes an extension of us – and less of a clone of someone else.”
Remove yourself from the noise
The online space is noisy and this results in our thoughts and judgement becoming very clouded.
“By consciously spending more time offline, we begin to understand more and more about what it is we wish to bring into the world. Many entrepreneurs end up spending far too long on social media to the point where it becomes a meaningless distraction.”
Tune into your intuition
Your intuition is a gift that is highly valuable in business. Your intuition already knows what it wants and it comes through as a clear “knowing”. Oftentimes we disregard our intuition and end up following what others are doing instead, which is never a sustainable way to grow or run our businesses.
“When we tune into our intuition and follow what feels good every step of the way, we can never fail or go wrong because that is what we truly want.”
By leaning in and trusting ourselves more and more, this is how we experience exponential levels of growth in both business and leadership. Our vision becomes clearer than ever and we become more fulfilled and happier along the journey.
