Andrew Anastasiou, the London born entrepreneur and Fintech evangelist has been nominated for the coveted Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The title has been given to some of the world’s most notable entrepreneurs, and is reserved for the most elite who have contributed products and services that have played major roles in improving the lives of others.

The 31 year old businessman is assumed to be in the top 50 of the estimated 100,000 entries for the title, and sources state that due to his efforts in bringing digital payments to the masses he is likely to be a finalist.

The entrepreneur has been involved in some of Europe’s most influential online banking projects and is in the process of obtaining a banking license in order to further expand his reach in the payment industry. He is also the Founder of WireWallet, an online banking platform offering virtual IBAN solutions and is the creator of LyncPay, the cash-to-voucher system which will provide digital payment solutions for half a billion people globally.

It has not been reported that Andrew Anastasiou has made a statement about the nomination and no online publications have been noted as speaking directly with the entrepreneur, however we expect to hear more from him closer to the announcement date of the winner to find out how he expects things to change for himself should he become the 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year winner.
