With their staple silhouettes, signature garments, and handcrafted footwear, ORO Los Angeles has been making waves in the luxury fashion sphere. The laid-back, rock-n-roll aesthetic of the brand has made it a go-to amongst fashion’s most stylish consumers around the world. After years of success with their menswear collections, ORO has taken their design principles into the world of womenswear, launching the first collection catered to ladies this past season.
As with ORO’s mens collection, ORO Womens embraces classic american style, offering a curated selection of ready to wear apparel and footwear. Graphic tees, plaid tops, and leather outerwear are staples of the product offering, peppered with unique pieces like The Semmer Cashmere Overcoat and Chrissy High Boots.
A few of ORO’s signature footwear styles like the ever popular Classic Black Chelsea Boot are given a feminine twist via the Emma Black Chelsea Boot – with more tapered angles at the heel, elastic gores, and toe box. Handcrafted in Spain in genuine calf suede with a full grain leather lining, the Emma Chelsea boot composition is upheld to the same quality standard that the brand’s shoes are known for. It’s safe to say these boots are definitely made for walking. The combination of timeless design and high grade construction will allow them to last for years to come. Another covetable footwear style in the female collection are the Cream Dora Combat Boots. These chunky soled, lace-up boots in a buttery soft cream leather stand out as an outfit completer. When paired with a soft vintage wash T and leather pants or cutout dress, the look comes together seamlessly and effortlessly.
Moving forward, ORO plans to expand their women’s line each season with curated, limited drops. For FW22 we can expect to see a unique extension of their denim line including new fits, finishes, and decorative accents. When looking to the @orowomens Instagram feed, we see the unique new medium denim wash with floral printing and brand monogram being a key piece to add to any lady’s wardrobe. The denim fabric is made in Italy where it is spun, dyed, and woven. Thereafter, the denim is imported to Los Angeles where local factories sew and wash these garments. A pair of denim usually takes up to two to three months to manufacture – resulting in every pair of denim made with top-notch quality and durability.
