Mr. Brooks founded Little Butterflies in August 2017. Mr. Brooks’s wife and mother played a huge part in his success. Mr. Brooks has a high IQ skill level in using different online platforms to bring in enrollments fast and to meet each Little Butterfly’s total capacity of children. Before he started his journey with Little Butterflies, he played professional basketball overseas for 8 years where he married his wife from Macedonia. This gave Mr. Brooks a different perspective about different cultures, diversity, and different languages. This has helped Mr. Brooks focus on diversity and to teach different languages to our Little Butterflies children.
Mr. Brooks has founded and opened 3 Little Butterflies locations in the last 4 years.
MRS. MAKEDONKA BROOKS
Owner/Director: Lavon Location
Mrs. Brooks is the Owner/ Director at the Little Butterflies Lavon location. She originates from Macedonia, Europe. Her educational background is Bachelor’s in English Philology and Teaching.She moved to the US in 2015, where she started her early child care career and business management.
With the experience and different perspectives, Mrs. Brooks helped Little Butterflies to rise up as a diverse child care which focuses on the education and the development of the children in early age, where learning and having fun is the daily goal.
Mrs. Brooks’ responsibilities are to make sure all centers are providing the best care for the children, providing training on how to stay in compliance and how to run the day to day operations and give the parents the comfort and best customer service.
MRS. LINDA BROOKS
Owner/Business Advisor
Mrs. Linda Brooks was the business advisor of Little Butterflies. Her educational background was Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree. She helped her son Philip and daughter-in law Makè to start the legacy of Little Butterflies with many different business tactics, created special Toddler activities that is used up to this day.
Mrs. Linda transitioned in November 2019 but her impact on Little Butterflies will carry on to all centers.
MICAH BROOKS
Legal Advisor
Mr. Brooks became the legal advisor for Little Butterflies in August 2016. Mr. Brooks has a strong background in education and law. Mr. Brooks received his bachelor’s in Law (LLB), in May 2010 at Southern Methodist University. Mr. Brooks also received his Juris Doctorate in law at New York University in May 2013. Mr. Brooks passed his Texas bar exam in November 2013. Mr. Brooks gives and approves all legal decisions for Little Butterflies.
KHALIL HAJI
Co-Owner(Academy location)
Food program advisor, payment advisor, technology advisor
Mr. Khalil received his associate of science at the age of 18. Mr. Khalil was born in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Shortly after that he started using his business skills and became a co-owner at our academy location in May 2020.Mr. Khalil sets up the payment system, camera system, food program system, and check-in system for all locations. He trains the staff that will be responsible for the systems at each location so they can be fast and efficient.
MARY ALICEA

Ms.Alicea moved to the USA in October 2013. She lived in Texas for 5 years and in New Jersey for 2 years. She spent most of her childhood in Puerto Rico where she was born and raised. Mr. Alicea received her Associate in Administrative Assistant in Puerto Rico. She worked for an architect firm for 6 years in Puerto Rico. Mr. Alicea started working for Little Butterflies(Lavon Location) in August 2018 where she started as a 3-year-old teacher. Later she became a Spanish/English teacher at our center. While Ms. Alicea teaches different languages and brings diversity to our center she is also very creative and takes on all the responsibility at each Little Butterflies to make sure the center is decorated correctly for the different yearly seasons.
HERTICINE WARE
Curriculum Advisor:

Ms. Ware has over 30 years of experience in early childhood education.
Mrs. Ware became our Pre-K teacher at our Lavon location in August 2016. Mrs. Ware makes the yearly curriculums for all Little Butterflies locations and oversees each location on monthly basis to make sure each classroom is teaching and following the curriculum’s
NORMA DELEON

Director/Co-Owner: Norma Deleon

Ms. Deleon was born in Birmingham,Alabama. She brings a lot of energy and hard work to Little Butterflies, while raising 5 children on her own. Ms. Deleon started working with Little Butterflies as a pre-school teacher in December 2019, shortly after that she was promoted to the lead director position at Litttle Butterflies Academy. In April 2021 Ms. Deleon became a co- owner/director at Little Butterflies Arlington. She brings a lot of positive energy to all of our centers and also helps translate for parents who can not speak english.
NIKKI GARLON
Special needs advisor
Director/Co-Owner:(Beltine location)
Ms. Garlon has over 20 years experience in early childhood education. She was born and raised in Garland Texas. She became lead director at Small Miracles Academy in 2014. After that Ms. Garlon started her career with Little Butterflies in May 2017 and became lead director/co-owner at our Beltine Location. Ms. Garlon has over 20 years experience with children who have special needs. She trains staff at each location and shows them different techniques and ways to handle children with special needs.
