Mr.SAMBATH RAKSA is one of military student officer of Student Army Officer Promotion 8 were studied at Army Instittute. The bachelor’s degree program at the Army Institute is for a full four years (2016-2020) for the 8th Generation Army Officers course. Of course, everyone already knows something about the military. Although they are just military trainees who have not yet gone through the battle, they are undergoing training to become competent and knowledgeable officers to take turns in the future. This study requires them to be away from family and loved ones with little time per month to meet. For those in faraway provinces, it is even more time-consuming to spend the weekend visiting family with family members, unless it is time for a vacation. The training is also very different from the civil education. Living, eating, studying, training, collective punishment If any soldier makes a mistake, all soldiers in one generation will be punished the same. The first and second year military education courses include training, exercises, general military discipline, military regulations, rules and regulations, weapons, tactics, secretaries, and knowledge gained from experienced teachers. For the third year, the study of civil knowledge (general knowledge) such as mathematics, physics, biology, agriculture, electricity, law, ethics, computer and driving a car. For the end of the third year, all soldiers have to go to parachute training for two months. Studying there is even more difficult because this is a life-changing training, so care must be taken otherwise it will endanger life or disability for life. Fortunately, with the help of the paratroopers and the efforts of all the soldiers, they were able to successfully parachute in this course. For the fourth year, they are required to take an entrance exam once, of which there are seven skills. In the middle of the fourth year, it is required to study in the People’s Republic of China for 6 months. Studying there, they are provided with accommodation, meals, salaries and travel allowances at the expense of the Chinese government. After graduating from China and returning to the country, you will need to continue your dissertation and experience on the border for more than a month. Going down there is to collect data on their daily lives, food, work and hardships. After that, return to the institute to gather that data and compile it into a group dissertation. Once the dissertation is defended, all military students are ready to take the final year exam to earn a bachelor’s degree. Please also note that when they pass the exam, they will receive the rank of Ministry of National Defense and the rank of Chief of Staff, and after completing the course, they will receive the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. And for other conditions required to enter the exam is from 18-25 years old, Khmer nationality, have a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree, never been convicted, not physically fit, single. The eighth generation of Army cadets graduated on February 18, 2020 under the chairmanship of His Excellency General ETH SARATH , Deputy Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. Congratulations to all of them who have served in the units in the Command, Military, Division, Brigade, in the Kingdom of Cambodia .
