Ravi Ganatra is a leader, innovator, and highly successful entrepreneur based in the city of Mumbai. He began his lucrative career in manufacturing, producing monumental and breath-taking amusement park rides in 2012. He would then later move on to the steel trade and launch his bold new venture, Stalwart International Private Limited. The impressive Stalwart establishment is currently on the brink of a merger with a well-established manufacturer of chemical and pharmaceutical equipment for well over 40 years and will likely be a game changer for Stalwart.

Mr. Ganatra is armed with an arsenal of knowledge, skill, and a proven track record of success. With an engineering degree and post-graduation in business management, he has fixed his eyes on the future of India and made it his life mission to take the country further into the world and its bright future. He is a proud proponent of the Make-in-India campaign and as such is an ardent believer in India’s vibrant workforce, skill set and allied strengths of the nation. While most industrialists and economists have been discussing the effects of an economic slowdown, Mr. Ganatra is actively recruiting, growing his company and propelling his organization into the future at full throttle.

Ravi firmly believes that it is of utmost importance to align the vision of every member of the organization with that of his own. This is critical for a smooth journey in sync. Ravi’s appetite for innovation and advancement at every level is insatiable, and it’s showed during his journey skywards.

It could be said Mr. Ganatra has the heart of a philanthropist along with mind of an entrepreneur. COVID-19 has been a trying and taxing time for everyone, but Ravi does his bit in serving the society and helping those in need. He believes the acts of kindness he’s committed to in these trying times, are really more for himself than for others. As the old adage goes “Feels good to do good” and he has discovered a certain sense of purpose and fulfillment in his giving.

But what about the man behind the businessman? A peek into his personal life will reveal a family man with a passion for fitness. He’s also just as productive at home as he is on the job, always dedicated to completing to-do lists. He also enjoys some the finer things in life. He’s a lover for various art-forms, likes to converse in broken colloquial Spanish and enjoys a good drink or two.

How are you helping COVID-19 front-line workers?

COVID-19 front-line workers play a major role in preventing its spread. At an individual level, we have engaged in distribution of sanitation and protective equipment to COVID-19 front line workers. Healthcare workers, police officers, municipal workers and many others; standing in the line of duty, those working on the COVID-19 front-line have risked not only their lives, but their family members.

How have you planned your financial strategies during the pandemic?

The strategy for pandemic is clearly to be conservative with expenses and investments, while ensuring no salary pay-cuts or layoffs. We strongly believe that the country will emerge well in no time and that the economic slowdown is only temporary.

How do you make sure your staff’s payment isn’t affected during these tough times?

We continue to operate partially as per permissible guidelines and also encourage working from home. This keeps us afloat while passing through testing times.
