But, where other realtors lose hope & move to towns to quit everything, Ricky on the other hand, gathered the courage & went back into the game to understand the philosophy in real estate sales; he learned the real estate business by training himself by reading 100s of self-development/real estate books & also at the same time closely watched the market.
As Ricky was again in the business, Alabama saw a BP oil spill disaster in their backyard in the gulf coast. Ricky, instead of moving away or abandoning the coastal projects, decided to test his hypothesis. And, in the same year, Ricky was successful at gaining $100,000 in Realtor fees. What’s even more interesting is that the next year after the spill, Ricky was able to increase his business by 50% & earned $150,000. By the years 2015, 2015, 2016 & 2017, Rick had already sold 100 properties each year as a single agent.
This success of his led him towards providing free coaching to agents for reducing the failure rate in the real estate business. He wants to produce realtors like him by giving them the right training with the right tools & resources. Ricky started his coaching company called “Zero to Diamond” to help & support agents by not only giving them useful insights of the industry but also his unique, low-pressure approach.
Not just that, Ricky is also a motivational speaker & a two-time author who has authored books like “Zero to Diamond: How To Become A Million Dollar Real Estate Agent” & “List To Last: How To Survive Every Real Estate Market Crash.” With writing his books, he also made an online course, developed a video library & provides a one-on-one approach to agents.
