As social media has become a more integrated part of our lives, digital content creation has seen an upward trend. People are switching to their favorite Instagram idols, Twitter personalities, and YouTube stars for all kinds of entertainment.

These influencers are trusted by millions of consumers and Said Ahmad, a Lebanese-Belgian comedian, born on 11 September 1992, is one of them who is the man behind Just Sul’s success who kick-started his journey back in 2015. Said Ahmad never thought of becoming a comedian and channelize his inner talent until he met Just Sul and ever since then the duo has been creating content which has become a major hit on the internet.

Said who has been creating content for Just Sul shares, “I was always a class clown throughout middle and high school and always joked around at home. I never thought I would be a comedian or actor as I’m not good on stage or in front of the camera. Luckily, I was able to Channel my humour through Just Sul. I never imagined this was going to become a career, I was just enjoying the moment and the journey of creating content with Sul, and we woke up one day and it became my full-time job! I used to spend a lot of time in LA and back in 2012 I met a few of the Viners and this sort of opened up my mind to social media and the business and opportunities behind it”.

“When we first started, a lot of the inspiration came from hip hop music, however as we grew and our understanding of social media grew, I discovered that content that people can Relate to or that’s trending succeed the most. So we just try to see what’s relevant and add a creative and funny twist to it!”

Owing to his hysterical and striking content seen via Just Sul’s Instagram, Said has received a lot of opportunities, one of them is traveling across the globe for work and leisure. He says, “All thanks to our social media success a lot of opportunities arise, one is traveling around the world. It’s beautiful to experience and see different cultures and tradition but what makes me happy the most is seeing people from different colors, race, ethnic groups, religion, age and gender appreciating Just Sul’s content and seeing their excitement and smile when they meet Sul and click a picture with him!”

Currently, the entire world is affected by the global pandemic of Coronavirus. The lockdown has restricted the creative freedom of the digital content creators massively. Talking about the same, Said says, “The lockdown has really affected our content making logistically and creatively. We’re very limited in terms of resources and inspirations as we have restrictions of leaving the house to buy props or even collaborate with other influencers due to social distancing. There’s not much trending in the world besides the pandemic and quarantine so we have to come up with content that people can relate to in a fun way! We also have to be creative with the items that we have access to around the house”.

He further adds, “But still I would say with whatever resources available, creating content has definitely helped us stay productive and sane during this lockdown”.
