Artificial Intelligence is purely driven by data. The data is like food and soul for Artificial Intelligence. Without the data there is no artificial intelligence.

The race for Information technology began during the last century. From the creation of the first computer, the exponential rise of technology began. This ascent boomed again in the 1990’s with the launch of the Internet and since then some of the largest corporations and communities are built upon this invention: Yahoo, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

From the phase of technological invention and innovation, we slowly migrated into the Data Acquisitions Phase, also called DAP during 2000. In this phase Data became a race, these data became super powered resources and it changed the outcome and style of the digital experience. In this phase, companies are all racing to essentially digitalize people into data that can be mined and or sold.

Many companies are desperate for data, and data became the primary resource for  running any kind of digital business. These datas are acquired by technology applications running on the web and any kind of mobile development.

The total number of digital footprints has increased tremendously in the last 10 years.

Alongside the tremendous changes on the technology front where languages like Java, Go, Scala, Python are increasing in use and functionality, In the last few decades, the number of platforms has grown with additions like windows, linux, unix, android, IOS and many more and which supports multiple devices. With all this, super technologies like big data came into existence and immediately became utilized by these different platforms. And with this data coming increasingly available these gave boost to technologies like Machine Learning , Artificial Intelligence.

As we are experiencing this data driven technology, nowadays we see more and more use cases of Artificial Intelligence becoming visible in fields like Health Care, Banking and Finance, Payment, Media and Social Networking, Oil, Military Intelligence, Ecommerce and many more industries.

BigData and Artificial Intelligence have become inseparable entities. For example, in order to apply intelligence to predict customer purchasing habits requires an almost unfathomable amount of data. So, as mentioned, data is like food for artificial intelligence.

This data allows AI to draw useful insights for a business to derive profit and efficiency from. As digital footprints are increasing every year, the next future tech will be dominated with technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Conclusions:

While there are certainly benefits with these new age technologies, there are concerns on data privacy and personal information. There are ways to always handle these downsides though and technology industries have incentives to do so.
