Jacqueline was born and raised in Vienna. At the age of 16, she participated in a modeling contest where she won the first place and got immediately signed with one of the best models agency in Vienna. After graduating from high school she started to travel as a model around the world. She has contracts with Agencies in Paris, Milan, Germany and other countries which allowed her to work for brands like Lancôme, Guess, Couture Jewelry, and swimsuits.
She shoots for the most famous international covers: Elle, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel, Esquire, Shape, fashion editorials for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia and many-many others well known magazines. Besides modeling she continued studying Psychotherapy and she was soon graduate from university.
Her hobby is travelling with her family when she has free time and learning languages. Jacqueline knows 5 European languages and dream to learn Chinese.
As advice to the beginning models Jacqueline recommend to believe in yourself and prepare to the each casting or shooting very seriously: «Before any shooting or important casting I am working out more than usually, especially if it’s a swimwear or lingerie shooting. The evening before I do my beauty routine: face mask, hair mask, body peeling, hair removal, manicure & pedicure. After I try to rest and go to bed early so I look fresh in the morning».
But the main advice from professional model is: «Always being strong and accepting criticism but not taking it too personally. As a model you have to get used to it that sometimes you are not the type the clients are looking for, but it’s not because something is wrong with you. For some clients you are too skinny, for others too big, for some too short, for others too tall, for some too feminine for others not edgy enough…the list is endless. But then there are the jobs that are made for you, where they adore your look and everything about you is just perfect. I think it’s a tough business and you need to have a strong personality, otherwise it can also destroy you».
My life motto is: Don’t worry, be happy! I’m a very positive minded person, because I believe that everything happens for a «good» reason. Even if you find yourself in a «bad» situation or things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to, be patient and accept the changes in your life. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but there will be a time where you will look back and be thankful that certain people, opportunities and things were removed from your life because you would have never found yourself had you not lost them. Be thankful for closed doors, detours and roadblocks because they protect you from paths and places not meant for you. You will be perplexed and awed by how every little thing added up and brought somewhere wonderful or were you always wanted to be.
