Sammy Voit, a 15-year-old American teen actor. Voit has already tasted success in Hollywood with his exceptional acting skills and has been featured in many commercials, films, and TV shows. Born in Bronx, New York in 2005, Voit began his acting career at the age of 10. His passion for cooking led him to appear on shows including Masterchef Junior, Chopped Junior, and Food Network Star Kids.
The film, To Dust, in which Voit played a principal role, won the Grand Jury Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. Another film Voit starred in, Nannyhood, was nominated for Best Screenplay at the Independent Spirit Awards in Los Angeles in 2019. Voit currently appears in the the Happiness Begins Tour and the film Happiness Continues, in which he plays the role of young Kevin Jonas.
At a young age where most teens are focusing on relationships, sports and school, Sammy Voit is rocking the entertainment industry and using his voice to make a difference. Sammy Voit is determined to find solutions to increase the support networks for individuals who are homeless.
The teen actor has won many accolades and awards in his young career. What is so impressive about this particular teen is that he is using the passion for the camera to give homeless people an opportunity to speak. Voit started working on a documentary titled, The Bus Stop in 2017, and has interviewed more than a hundred individuals half of whom were homeless. The Bus Stop is slated for release in 2021.
