Trevor Crump has been in the marketing space for almost ten years. He started an ecommerce business with Asher Golf in 2016. Trevor fell in love with ecommerce and entrepreneurship, and they scaled the business to 6 figures in less than a year. Now the company is a multi-million dollar business. In 2018 he joined another ecommerce team as their CMO called Fawn Design. As the company role and responsibilities got more prominent, he stepped away from Asher and became a silent partner, built up the Fawn Design marketing team, and grew new acquisitions by over 35%.
“I started consulting ecommerce businesses in 2020, and we launched Labwork Media, a full-fledged ecommerce marketing agency,” says the founder of Labwork Media. “In the first eighteen months, we turned our business into a seven-figure business. We set out to build a marketing agency that works with brands rather than for them. Most agencies run ads or campaigns for brands. We do that, but we take it a step further. We understand how everything a brand does impacts its marketing.”
The company has evolved into offering an ecommerce brand to a complete branding and marketing experience. They offer digital strategy, ad execution, content creation, and video production for ads. In 5 years, Trevor and The Lab team envision themselves building a program that takes on the education system. Rather than someone going to college, they will become a part of their agency literally. They will have contracts built-in with specific clients that would allow them to give their students experience in their account.
