Young Entrepreneur Evan Tsaboukos Is Shaping the Future of Handicapping In Australia

The old adage, “Work smarter, not harder,” doesn’t apply to Evan Tsaboukos, the Cash Kings founder. Evan knows that in order to succeed as an entrepreneur, it’s crucial that a person works both smart and hard. Despite not excelling in school due to a lack of interest, Tsaboukos knew that he could apply his mathematical genius to succeed in life. During his time at university, he started building an investment portfolio and subsequently created Cash Kings at the age of 21. Now, the 24-year-old is working on expanding his domain and has already extended the Cash Kings brand into both forex and blockchain investment companies as well.

As a student, Evan Tsaboukos was only ever interested in one thing: mathematics. He proved this by coming in first place in an Australian Maths Competition amongst many others. This was an amazing accomplishment for someone of his age. “It taught me all about analysis, numbers, creating formulas, managing probabilities, etc. All these lessons were used in one way or another for formulating my  playing formulas,” he remarks. That interest in applying his mathematical knowledge and passion for problem-solving to sports and horse investments didn’t appear until later, though.

Initially, Evan thought that he would become an engineer, as it seemed a natural extension of his interest in maths. However, while studying toward an engineering degree at university, he soon lost interest in the subject matter and felt unchallenged. He couldn’t see himself competing with other employees to fight his way up the corporate ladder at some company so that he could work a nine-to-five job and take orders from someone else. Soon after getting started on his investment portfolio, Tsaboukos was making thousands of dollars every week and decided that he was already equipped with the knowledge he needed to succeed independently without the addition of a degree.

Helping other investors seemed like the logical next step to Evan, who saw a significant problem in the Australian sports and horse handicapping industry that could be solved by applying his own calculations and investment methods. He also had ample knowledge of the industry thanks to his three years of experience in horse arbitrage, from which he had made multiple six figures prior to starting work with clients. After managing to achieve a large amount of success for over 5,000 clients, he came up with the vision to create Australia’s first, and currently only, central investment platform, The Cash Kings.

A big part of what drives Evan’s passion for business and self-reliance is his upbringing. At 16, his parents got divorced, and the family was facing financial troubles. As the oldest of five children, Evan took the responsibility upon himself to help provide. “There were times where there was not much food in the pantry. I was always broke. I had no money to go out with friends. We had no money for anything, as most of the money I made had to go to helping our family put food on the table and paying the bills,” he adds.

Experiencing what it feels like to hit rock bottom was a major eye-opener for Tsaboukos, who vowed to get out of that situation and keep it from ever happening again. This understanding drives his killer work ethic and continued perseverance today, even after his recent major successes.

Right now, Evan is working hard to change the handicapping industry and provide a place away from the corruption and scams, where people can educate themselves using proven methods and hard data. Follow Evan Tsaboukos on his Instagram account, @evan.tcks, to learn about his investment strategies as well as new opportunities as The Cash Kings brand continues to expand into a world-renowned investment company.
