Los Angeles – Abigail Spenser Hu is a multimedia and innovative and revolutionary artist who is passionate about creating anything related to creativity such as music, fashion, film, real estate designs.

For the past decade, she has been investing and successfully  creating companies. One of the newer adventures is creating her own music and film.

Spencer Hu is now thinking about creating her own video game and launching it on the Metaverse.

We sat with her in the sunny downtown of Los Angeles right after a fashion show and asked Abigail for advice. Here are her best tips for any fashion-forward venture.

AA: What is Metaverse and what are your favourite groups?

ASH: Meta is a form of community which can include many sub categories – and therefore, many sub groups.

Each circle gathers online users who have similar and common interests.

My favourite ones are the groups where users are there to create and build projects, even living together in the virtual world just as in the real world, eventually people who currently meet on Facebook groups will now meet in meta groups.

AA: How can NFTs contribute to a better art industry?

ASH: Non fungible tokens (NFTS) are the getaway for the future for the Arts industry. Currently, pieces are being recorded, sold and transferred on the blockchain in other currencies than the traditional ones we use, such as U.S Dollars.

But, what people do not talk about enough is that NFTs are no different than a traditional art transaction. It is more than being able to sell a digital piece of art for a good value.

AA: People frequently reach out to you for help on marketing and sales of NFTs as your network with high net worth individuals. What are the main advice would you give as an artist?

As a true artist you have to polish your sense of beauty, it is a skill either born with or be trained for by experience. I am more interested in creating beautiful things to leave behind rather than selling things to make a quick buck.

I have been going to the museum on a weekly basis since the age of five. It is great to to have a good eye and great tastes, but you also  need to nourish your inspiration constantly.

Selling NFTs is no different than selling traditional art. If your artwork is good and a lot of people like it, the value of your art will be translated into money no matter the form of currency.

Being sold on block chain only means you now have an easier way to transfer the sale of the art which in term give more exposure and more resale value each time it’s being sold.

AA: How to become influential in NFTs and metaverse? What advice do you give for beginning users?

In order to be able to gain influence in any type of world, real or virtual, you need a solid network.

You must have either popularity, such as celebrity or influence, such as working for a big corporation and – or – having a high ranked position.

AA: What kind of products or services will people need in this new meta world ?

Art is a timeless conversation – this is exactly why NFTs have become one of the most popular commodities in meta.

Clothing will be crucial for the metaverse, since avatars will require skins. Digital real estate, where people will live and digital transportation, where people will travel from a digital place onto another.  Also, people will work in the meta space and running a meta business will soon be something quite common.

One bottom line to remember is to remain creative and innovative. If you are simply bringing ideas that already exist in real life hopefully to gain a bigger popularity the chances are slim. Artists have to get out of their comfort zone, breaking the limits and creating an unknown world.

AA: What projects are you releasing soon and what are your goals?

I aim to become the first influencer and singer in both the real and meta world. Therefore, I am releasing my first NFTs as my first collection in February as part of my new single “Inwards” song release.

While producing this short sci fi- fantasy film music video, I met and collaborated with various talented artists. The second part of the NFTs release of my avatar digital self in another worldly background in March.

AA: Who are you going to work with?

I have set myself the goal to release biweekly content in the meta and real world at the same time on my Instagram account  @abigailspenserhu.

I will be collaborating with digital fashion designers, digital real estate developers and architects, digital car designers and manufacturers for my metaverse content and everything will be sold as NFTs. If you are someone who is interested in buying and investing in meta, you know what you should do now!
