At only 25, Andrew Hristo has accomplished his dreams of running successful social media marketing and e-commerce businesses from his computer while traveling the world. It’s all thanks to his balance of work and health.
With a background as a professional trainer, Andrew is a firm believer in maintaining one’s mental and physical health. In doing so, one reaches their peak potential and can achieve success faster. Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of neglecting their health, meaning stress and burnout come more quickly.
Andrew is big on having a healthy diet and regularly going to the gym. These two things ensure optimal sleep and brain function, helping him get into the right mindset to run his businesses smoothly.
Rather than only sustaining his own health, Andrew started his own online personal training business, which involved influencer marketing for multiple big fitness brands. On top of that, he started a social media marketing agency, where he offers web development, social media management, and lead generation.
His clientele for his marketing agency mainly consists of doctors, dentists, and plastic surgeons. Andrew stresses the importance of being able to turn down clients. He encourages up-and-coming entrepreneurs not to take on everyone who wants their business, but to limit themselves to only the ones they know they can help.
“Specialize in a niche and master the skills that come with it; this will ensure success. You’ll be able to identify any problem that may arise, then find the quickest solution. Soon enough, others will take notice, and you’ll be in demand,” Andrew explains.
Another thing Andrew promotes is having a team one can trust and count on. He’s made sure to hire people with a background in social media and customer service. This allows him to delegate smaller tasks, like emails and making appointments, while he focuses on bringing in the more significant revenue.
To Andrew, being a business owner means making the sales calls and irresistible offers to clients. That’s what has helped him generate the level of success he’s had over the years, though it wasn’t that way initially.
When he first started, Andrew made the mistake of trying to do everything himself. Quickly he realized how vital it is to have a team so he could spread the workload out, and he urges others to do the same.
Another piece of advice for anyone starting is to have a clear understanding of why they’re getting into the industry. When things get tough, thinking back to one’s initial inspiration can help. That purpose and passion will come through to save the day.
To date, Andrew has helped over 500 people get into the e-commerce business with his advice, though his ultimate goal is to help one million eventually. With the things he’s accomplished, that goal may be a lot closer than anyone thinks.
He’s indeed come a long way, from being 13 years old and flipping products on eBay to moving to America after high school to become a successful entrepreneur. Andrew shows that by putting in the hard work and being consistent, one can make their dreams a reality.
