Being part of your generation is one of the most underrated assets in business. With the right commercial mindset and understanding for its needs, it can be a guarantor for successful business.
When people become a successful brand in their own right it is worth sitting up and taking notice. In modern times, in some ways with increased competition and difficulties facing a wide range of industries, a successful business, turning good profits, is a less common occurrence. Of course, it can be done, and often it is not until someone has reached quite far into their business career when they can begin such a venture. But Drayson Little started his venture during his childhood and is still only 21. To date, he has made over $2 million in sales!
His profit comes from his multiple e-commerce websites. To fulfil orders he uses the dropshipping method. Just recently, from October to December of 2019, he was able to accumulate revenue of $1.75 million through working with 2 of his business partners. Not bad at all for a guy who’s parents informed him that business was a waste of time and that he should be a lawyer or doctor! That was not the path he wanted to take and his determination, and no doubt a lot of hard work, has paid off.
When Drayson was a junior in high school he did a spot of affiliate marketing and made $4,000 in profit! This early experience did him well as by his sophomore year he was already setting up his first e-commerce site using dropshipping. It was not long at all until this was turning a good profit, around the 4-5 month timeframe,
These kinds of numbers do not happen as a fluke. Sure there is the hard work, and you can tell Drayson had a lot of determination to make his business work. But there are other reasons for his success, such as his strong grasp on the creative advertising side of things. This means he can make sure his websites get seen by all the right people and promoted in a way his rivals may not be managing. Another thing that he thinks he may well be doing better then his rivals is selling impulse purchases. Drayson comments that he likely understands a lot better then many what drives a customer to make an impulse purchase.
Drayson has had a great start in his career and is still very young so it will be interesting to see what is next for him. When asked where he sees himself in the next few years, he states that he would like to be expanding his marketing agency even further, and also taking the chance to help others realise the possibility of dropshipping e-commerce success.
