Could you describe your working day?
I start my day early with a form of exercise. Usually biking or hiking. I’m an avid nature lover, so I spend most of my days being one with nature capturing the beautiful animals. I am a full time student, obtaining my second degree of Elemenrary Education. I work part time in my families business and also at a facility for the developmentally disabled as I have a degree in art therapy. Also being an equestrian takes up time, I have a show horse. So i spend a lot of time training on him. I am a seeker of the arts. My days are filled working on my life’s journey.
How did you enter in fashion industry?
I got my start in the fashion industry when I started working with Raven Durán of The Muse Society. I got time in front of the camera, and submitted my photos to magazines. Forever grateful to Raven for taking me under her wing.
What is the charm of working as a model?
People believe that it is nothing less than glamorous. But there is so much work that is put into it from all angles. From the photographer, designer, stylist, makeup, hair, etc. when everything comes together it is a truly beautiful experience.
Which do you prefer more: the process of shooting or the result?
I love the process of shooting. The time spent planning, trying on different outfits, the creativity aspects, and being able to have a say in the mood-board is an exciting time as I love the expression I get to show.
How much time do you spend at the gym? Do you do this for yourself or for your model career?
I don’t workout in a physical gym setting. I work out in a variety of ways independently. This includes bike riding, yoga, walking, hiking, skiing, and horseback riding. Being physically active out in a nature setting is something I enjoy.
