It’s a valid question: why not live every day like it’s Friday? For most people, it’s because the workweek doesn’t allow them. Friday is the day when people can get at least a little bit to lose, but if they did that every day, wouldn’t that lead to catastrophe?
Not if one asked Xander Neff, a model-turned-entrepreneur. He seems adamant in his plan to make every day Friday, and if his social networks are anything to go by, it seems like he’s doing a good job at it.
Of course, it’s not like there’s something one can do overnight to be able to turn their every day into Friday. There are plenty of things going on under the hood, so to speak, that allow an Army veteran such a nonchalance.
Creativity and Content Production
For anyone who’s looking to find success on anything that resembles a social network or a social media website, the ability to create killer content is paramount. It’s how people compete on these social networks. They leave their offerings and then see which ones get more shares, likes, and even more relevant metrics.
Xander claims that his creative skills allow him to create premium content. He has an attitude of constant improvement that will do him very well in the long run and can set him apart from the competition. While his content game is ramping up, Xander also has other things working for him.
The Ability to Stay Positive
The one thing that’s important to remember about Xander is that, in his short life he’s managed to score a TBI while snowboarding, which got him into the position to re-learn how to walk, after which he joined an elite part of the Army.
So while he won’t sell himself as a role model to anyone, his infectious positive attitude doesn’t need a sales pitch. It just sticks to anyone who sees it.
That positivity is there in everything he does. It’s in his content, in the agency he’s starting, in the way he works as a model; it’s everywhere where he can express the gratitude of being alive, walking, and looking good doing it. So that just might be enough to make every day feel like a Friday.
Working with the Right People
Finally, let’s not forget that no person is an island and that one’s often only as good as their surroundings. That’s why Xander takes building a team seriously; he knows that every individual’s energy has a role to play in the outcome of every project.
His part, however, is in being the boss. A firm believer in leadership, he will surround himself with all the right people, but never leave it up for interpretation as to who it is that makes all the rules. When one of those rules is that every day should be like Friday, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would seriously object to it. Because the bottom line is that the job gets done, and if it gets done in a fun way, all the better.
