I believe that what makes a soul a stellar service provider, but more so a candidate with high intellect, is their ability to adapt to change and their commitment to excellence. The statement has to be what I heard years ago as I listened to the commencement speech Steve Jobs gave at Stanford. While describing a realization he had at 17, Steve said: “Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure — these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.”
