The deputy leader of the party blatantly asks Labour to back up the second referendum regarding Brexit or else lose the chance of winning the upcoming general elections. Tom Watson added to his statement that he fears the upcoming results of the European elections may be affected by the ambiguous decision of Labour. Also, he is quite disturbed regarding the fact that the voters might desert the party due to the same.
Tom Watson extends his views on the matter suggesting that the party must at once stop with the hedging of its bets and re-think about its stance and try and re-align it with the best interest of the party members.
He also said that the outcome of the European election is directly proportional to that of our backing up the public vote on the matters of the second Brexit referendum. Also, it is better to back it up when the public as well as the majority of the party members are loud and clearly demanding for the same.
When recent mock polls were conducted it showed Labour might lose more than four times of the voters to the party if not backed up the brewing cause.
