A high-end venue located only a short distance from Knightsbridge Underground Station and the lavish Harrods department store it’s the new celebrity hangout.
It’s no surprise that Forbici has welcomed celebs such as Love Island’s Georgia Harrison, Married at First Sight’s Tamara Joy, Game of Throne’s actor Christian Vit, celebrity chef Eric Lanlard through its doors as well as numerous hair and beauty influencers.
Forbici has rapidly become a central part of the Knightsbridge hair and beauty scene, thanks to its superb range of hair, body, and facial treatments. The company is also a rare pandemic success story, having thrived as a beloved new wellness spot.
Founded in 2020 as the culmination of many years of planning, the salon launched just three weeks before the pandemic hit, forcing Forbici to temporarily close its doors. During this time, lots of activity took place behind the scenes – and by the summer, Forbici was back in full swing.
Since then, business has been booming. Now it’s time for the next step in Forbici’s journey, by partnering with Hackett London, a premium clothing retailer in need of barbering services in several of its stores.
By the end of 2020, Forbici was expanding to four new locations across London, with premises in Covent Garden, Sloane Street and Regent Street. Having survived the pandemic, the company was not just surviving but truly thriving – and ready to take on new challenges.
This journey to continued growth proves that when armed with a dream and the skills to make it a reality, anything is possible. A positive attitude and the will to carry on have taken Forbici far: who knows what the future holds for this ambitious brand.
Co-founders Tyson and Nadia met in 2016. Both under 40 and at the helm of a successful business, they are bonded by their shared love of hairdressing and beauty. Tyson takes the lead with styling, while Nadia handles business development.
“Life is tough, but you have to make the most of every opportunity,” says Nadia. “There is always light at the end of the tunnel. That’s our motto as Forbici continues to grow.”
