Learning is necessary for our survival. Information and continual learning nourish our minds in the same way food nourishes our bodies. Every being and organization must invest in lifelong learning.
Continuous learning is now an essential aspect of developing critical thinking abilities, exploring new methods to interact with people from various cultures, and being the best in one’s profession. Kristen Terry, head of Terry Consultants and TerryFit Recovery, firmly believes that it’s impossible to imagine a life without constant learning!
Soon after completing her International business degree, Kristen went into business in the States, currently has a consulting firm specializing in personal injury, and is a sports recovery clinic. But she hasn’t stopped. She is currently studying for the Bar to become an attorney to add value, leverage, and longevity to her consulting firm. Indeed that’s how creative overachievers are!
Kristen loves to accomplish, help people, and acquire new businesses. TerryFit Recovery is proof of Kristen’s attachment to her passion!
TerryFit Recovery opened its doors in 2015 due to founder Kristen’s multiple injuries while touring with her overseas live production. Her previous athletic injuries as a stunt woman in movies and years as a professional dancer prompted her to begin and learn the healing arts while rehabbing her own body. Instead of going back overseas on another contract, she decided to utilize her expertise with business and the body in the States. TerryFit Recovery’s clientele focus is primarily professional athletes but treats your everyday client as well. Not many of us think of learning from their injuries and turning them into something beneficial for ourselves and others.
Kristen’s thirst for learning has always remained unquenched and made her vye for more. She organically learned Spanish when she was just 17 to dance. Soon after, she got admission to college in Miami, FL, after getting a scholarship.
She enhanced her Spanish when she got her first job as an International Latin Ballroom and Salsa Federation instructor and teacher. This helped her in many of her performances and got Kristen her first production deal with a record Label to sing and dance. All this while she was still on an academic scholarship, studying as an intelligent college student, working full time, and performing as an artist.
Kristen’s hard work, learning, and unwavering commitment eventually led her to business in the arts and entertainment in Los Angeles then overseas in Asia, where she has been in film, theater, and TV.
Kristen practically shows the world that learning boosts the connections within one’s brain, and the more you learn, the better you get in each walk of your life!
