As a recently emerged burger chain in the Middle East, Huff & Puff has quickly made themselves stand out from the crowd of fast food chains in the middle east. Starting four years ago with one location, they have since skyrocketed with seemingly overnight success, having already expanded to 17 locations in the Middle East including 11 locations in the UAE, 5 locations in the KSA, 1 location in Salalah-Oman & 1 location in Kuwait, with plans to expand to more in the near future.
Nada Alshamsi, who founded the company 4 years ago says “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t accomplish something, work hard to achieve your dreams and goals”. Her mentality plays a large role in Huff & Puffs apparent success, as she pushes her employees and peers to work hard to find their passion and desire to reach their goals.
Not wavering in the sight of adversity, Nada Alshamsi has been faced with the challenge of keeping her company afloat during a very turbulent time this year. For 3 months due to the ongoing pandemic, all Huff & Puff chains doors were closed. In addition to this her cafe, which was another business endeavor had to cease operations entirely, permanently closing in less than a year.
With stiff local competition, Huff & Puff has had to keep their gilded secret burger recipe from competitors. Over the years many have tried to steal it, with little success. Moving fast, keeping up with trends, and staying up to date on social media platforms plays a vital role in Huff & Puffs success.
They’ve managed to navigate the local competition with ease, curating an audience of burger lovers who look forward to seeing their name pop up as new locations emerge. As Huff & Puff recently registered an international trademark in 165 countries, with no signs of slowing down, we expect to see this burger make its presence known around the world.
