Caroline Crowder has always had a passion for writing and creating content. Even though she decided to major in communications at the University of Maryland, her passion for writing stayed with her. In fact, it was her travel blog she started while studying abroad in Italy that rekindled her love for writing and got her started on her entrepreneurial journey. The blog started as a way to keep her friends and family updated on her travels, but it was published on a TripAdvisor forum and she began to build an audience.
Caroline continued to blog after graduating college, and would write every night after getting home from her 9-5. This love for blogging blossomed into a passion for creating content, and she found her groove with the perfect combination of writing, design, market outreach and communication with others as she began to grow her brand on social media.
Nowadays, she’s gathered a tremendous following of over 350,000 organic followers on Instagram that have engaged with her fashion and beauty content. Caroline is also active on TikTok and YouTube, and goes by Project Sweet Caroline on all social media outlets. These accounts all fall under her larger company, PSC Media.
She’s done incredible work consulting with brands on content creation, accelerating their growth on social media, and editing their content to make it as professional as possible. She’s even worked with brands as reputable as JCPenney, The NFL, Lyft, and Revolve. It’s safe to say that her passion for content creation has grown into something incredible with her consulting and design company, and she’s just getting started.
A preconception that a lot of people make around Caroline’s work is that her work is easy. What a lot of people don’t see are the hours Caroline puts in on editing platforms like Adobe and Lightroom, or the countless consulting sessions she has with brands to work on their content strategy. While she loves what she does, her work ethic is certainly top notch and she is constantly working to improve.
Caroline has found that she’s very self motivated. She spent years after college working full time, while dedicating her time after work. She works best late at night, and loves being her own boss. She’s grown to become the most comfortable in her entrepreneurial role, and she feels as though her journey is only just beginning.
