Who Is Omar?
Omar Choudhury, aka OmarConnects, is a 21-year-old digital entrepreneur who is well known for his closing abilities and his work building the most credible brands. Omar grew up in a low-income household, despite his parents being well educated. Although he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Omar’s parents showed him to be resourceful in everything he did. This resourcefulness was engrained in Omar from an early age.
Omar took on every piece of work he could growing up. From working in a café for £3 an hour to selling sweets in school, Omar knew that the hard work would eventually build skills that would benefit him later in life. He got accepted into a prestigious degree apprenticeship, an opportunity to work at a Big 4 Accountancy firm and have his degree paid for him. However, in his second year, he took a risk and decided to drop out, to scale his business to the next level.
Omar’s Successful Habits
Omar started his entrepreneurship journey knowing that he would face a lot of rejection. However, he believes there is no such thing as failures; only wins or learning experiences. “Your perceptions become your reality, so if you put a huge negative weight on rejection, you’ll only put yourself out of the game eventually. If you view that incident as something you could have improved upon in a positive light, then you will see positive results. When you are starting, drop the ego, realize you’ll have to put in the work no matter what happens and that’s when you’ll see the results you want,” Omar tells us.
Humbleness and conducting business ethically are something Omar has built the foundations of his businesses upon. He is known for how much work he does for his teammates and clients, and that hard work has paid off for him. In a market where there are a lot of people who only care about money, Omar is determined to show he genuinely cares and treats others in the way he wishes to be treated. Omar also believes in not biting the hand that feeds you. “A lot of people have tried to snake me in the past. Stealing my work and information and pretending it is theirs. However, I believe on good things come to good people, and bad things come to bad people. I now surround myself with good people and that’s why Grow With Us is at the top. So be a good person, it’s that simple in this game”.
What’s Next For Omar?
Omar plans on scaling his Instagram branding agency, Grow With Us, to multi 8 figures in the next year with his team. He plans on building more relationships, speaking at his first live event, and bringing onboard his first billion-dollar client. He also is optimistic about his investment portfolio and overall enjoying the rest of the year improving himself.
Omar’s characteristics have clearly shown that entrepreneurs build their success on strong habits. These habits take time to build, so it is important you start to improve yourself now. The longer you wait, the more you miss out.
